thanks op, are those shiny tops or matted tops?

also, not to threadcrap but you can always get 100 packs 8x ty -r (tyg02) for $48 @ rima if you can't wait for BB sales.

Matted tops. I bought 10 -r's when they were on for 19.99 in Canada at BB. I loved their CD-R's and their DVD-R's are no exception. Fujifilm > all

Just a heads up on Tayo Yuden T02's DVD+R (sony branded, fuji(?)) .. There have been a few concerns (cdrforums) that Lite-On's don't handle them very well, and/or that they don't like being burned at less than 8x. Naturally I see this as a reason to buy an NEC, rather than avoid purchasing what otherwise appears to be an excellent disc, but just thought I'd give a heads up.

Yes. Fuji +R Made in Japan = Good times. I just got a few packs, time to get some more. Thanks a lot for the heads up. Also Fry's in the bay area is selling them for $5 more at $25 through saturday I think, if you're in my situation and have a fry's close but not a bestbuy.

I just went to my local BB and it looked like they only had one 50 pak +R left. But then I noticed they had them on three dif aisles, and on the third section they had a ton of them - also the 48X FujiFilm TayoYuden CDR's - the ones with the same bulge at bottom as DVD's and the blue cardboard top protector.

So, I guess on Sun there will be plenty.

How much for those CD-R's??

I have jumped on deals like this the last three times they have come up. Now i find myself with 300 8x dvdrs. Guess I should go ahead and pass on this one 😀.

is this going to be afte a rebate??

It was listed in the very first post:
I just saw a ad for BB Sunday and they have the 50 pack Fuji DVD + or - for $19.99 out the door after instant rebate.

i just bought a 50pack of Fuji (TY) +R media this past monday for $40. i should be able to PM this with Bestbuy, right? i've still got my receipt.

Wonder how fast will these sold out....I live around downtown Chicago and have to work tomorrow.....should I ask a friend to pick some up for me or it won't sold out on Monday???

Staples has 50 pck Sony made in Japan..mine were Taiyo Yuden 02..same as these..use the $10 off $40 coupon and get 100 for $30 plus tax

this will only work today

Should I have got the + 😕 as I just picked up the - as there were only 3 of the Japan ones left and they were all in the back old stock most likely. They are for backing up some of my DVD collection.

I'm curious why are all these retailers dumping all their DVD media? I've seen sony, memorex, fuji 50 packs for $20 for a couple weeks now. Are all the retailers planning on getting DL media soon?

I hit my local BB today to check and see what they had, a bunch of Fuji + and -R 50 packs already on the shelves. They already had the TDK -R's on sale for $19.99 at my store. I plan on hitting them early tomorrow morning and picking up a couple packs of the Fuji's. Oh yeah, they had both Tawain and Japan made discs on the shelf.

The DL's are there at BB and Staples but $36.99 for 3 at Staples is a bit steep for me.

I beleive they are dumping the 8X media as I saw Verbatim 16 X DVD media at Staples along side the DL DVD's
