For what it's worth, I picked up a spindle of 50 Fuji's (made in Japan ;) ) at Kmart for $12 this weekend, still on sale this week I believe. Not a great deal for CD's, but for anyone still picky about brand, AND who doesn't want to deal with irritating rebates, not too shabby.

Or if you don't mind the rebate "hassle," CompUSA still has the Fuji 25 packs in slim jewel cases for $3.33 each (max 3 rebates). The online rebate registration says the checks should go out quickly and I've never heard of anyone complaining about Fuji manufacturer's rebates. I picked up 75 for $31 - $21 in rebates = $10 + tax. All are TY.

50 fuji's are usually $13 @ BB already with a $8 rebate. so i'd be willing to pay an extra $1 in hopes of getting $8 back.

i;ve gotten every fuji rebate back to date (actually got a few extra ones, not sure y they sent it), but i did have to chat with their customer service serveral times.

I was actually pretty impressed with Fuji's rebate system. You can submit the rebate online and print out the result page it gives you, then just send that in with the UPC and it really accelerates the rebate process. I sent two Fuji rebates in for CD-R's over the summer and got the rebates back within 3 weeks.
