Fuji 30 pack CD-R TY $5.00 Clearance @ OM (YMMV)

This is my first deal so take it easy on me =)


I was headed to OM today for the HP 50 pack cd-r clearance sale and they were all sold out and i happen to see 30 packs of Fuji CD-R's made in Japan on the shelf. I picked up the last few they had. They were $5.00 ea. Not smoking by no means but for really great cds it's not bad.

YMMV due to it maybe being only my store (Las Vegas NV)
 
what om is this? anyone else seen this as well?

Las Vegas NV the store on Eastern. I picked the last few but i'm sure you could call around and find out if more are available. I think there's atleast 3-4 stores here in town.
 
they are colored on top and made in japan.

its mainly through Online but some stores have them tucked away in the clearence section at back of the store.

Oops, made a mistake, the 50pack was for DVD-Rs, I bought a 100pack for $23, which still isn't cheap...
 
i have two 50 pack (48x) spindles left. one is still shrinkwrapped.

they're purchasing from a plant in taiwan. that's y new fuji bundles say: made in taiwan.

I think i've been reading in these crazy forums for over a year now that Fuji 30-pack TY's are out of production, apparently they aren't, as a new deal seems to come along every month, I'm amazed that some of you will say, Fuji isn't using TY's anymore...that's rediculous, cause I see them everytime i go to an officemax, they are ALWAYS in stock, anyone else notice this? I think the Fuji colored TY's are still in production and going strong, but for some reason seem to only be in 30 packs and 10 packs in slim cases.
 
i havent seen TY disks at my local stores for almost a year now, the supply just dwindles away; these last few deals are clearances scattered in local stores around the country

off topic, who makes the best DVDR's in your opinion? I've been some Fuji made in japan and it seems these are as good quality at the TY CDRs.
 
Good news here in AZ.
Just got my online order from OM today. Needed some filler items to use my coupon with so I thought I'd try out the Fuji closeout deals they have. Online is the 50ct Fuji for $7.50 and the 100ct Fuji for $15.00.
Got 2 of the 100ct spindles and weeeeeee they are Taiyo Yuden (Made in Japan). I only had about 15 left of my last spindle.
What a nice find at OM.com

This is certainly a YMMV and a good one too!

nice, these are in stock for seattle. been looking for a reasonable deal on cdr's for a couple weeks and this is it!
