Fuel pump Saturn Aura xr 3.6

2007 Saturn Aura XR 3.6.
My problems with the car started when it was diagnosed a bad fuel pump. it was replaced, a few weeks later the car wouldn't start again so the fuel pump was replaced again. a few weeks later same thing. I am with my third fuel pump. The car now won't start randomly. like first thing in the morning or sometimes after filling the tank. cranks good and it sounds like no fuel is coming to the engine.

Have you tested fuel pressure to see if the pump is working? Verified power to the pump? With three fuel pumps, I'd be suspecting something else.

Have you tried replacing the fuel pump relay?

Find a mechanic who knows how to diagnose instead of just throwing parts at the car.

yes, the relay was replaced. Sometimes there is power to the pump and sometimes there is not. What could that be?

The relay or whatever's telling the relay it should send power to the pump.
