I'm pretty sure that the stock explosion of %19.5 on Friday indicates that investors are quite satisfied with AMD's execution and forecast, mainly due to Fusion's accelerated ramp. The future is fusion tagline is there for a reason, that's the direction AMD is heading and CPU cores (ie Bulldozer) is one part of the Fusion process. With the added bonus of them being server CPU's of course. Fusion is AMD's biggest threat to intel in many years.
Now if you meant "AMD shorts are getting nervous too", then I agree.
It was over 9 bucks in May. So now it's time to celebrate 7 bucks! That bounce was only because shareholders who wouldn't know an APU from the convenience store manager on the Simpsons are seeing that AMD is making inroads on the low end at the expense of Intel. A market that interests me as much as the fermented mare's milk market in Mongolia. If they're spiking the AMD price because of an unreleased, unknown, vastly delayed BD then they deserve to take a bath in their portfolios.
Like I said! Yay, We're Number Two!
