I got home last night after class to find all my clocks blinking, letting me know that the power went out. I went into my computer room to turn on my computer, but my monitor didn't wake up, nor did my wireless keyboard remote power up. I have an 8RDA+. I'm gettiing the feeling that the bios chip is shot. The small LCD on the board goes to CF and nothing else. Does anyone have any suggestions. I have a back up rig running with an A7N8X DLX, but I'd love to get back to my 8RDA+ if it'll boot up.
To recap, the computer turns on, but the screen is not "waking up". I've tested the drives in another rig, and they are fine. I've test the RAM, Video card, and swapped out the power supply with a spare Truepower I had sitting around. The problem has to be in the board. Anyone?
