You've got another 45 minutes, they're probably sending every tech out there for it

Can it not be watched online? You could always whip out the old rabbit ears.

Where are you located?

I'm in the Chicago area. Yesterday I had band practice until 5, then went to the pub to watch the game with some friends. Saw the first half, halftime, and a bit of the 3rd quarter, then it was time to go.

Stepped outside into a blizzard! Slowly drove home listening to the rest of the game on AM 670. Go Giants! Anyway I finally got home and wanted to watch some postgame stuff (see all the highlights I heard on the radio). Comcast TV was down, Comcast internet was down.

I called their 866 number and the automated recording said service would be back up at 9:37pm. Waited till then, it wasn't. Called again, this time 11:37pm.

I can only imagine how many pissed off customers there were around here. Outage on Superbowl Sunday must be a killer for their call centers.

My Comcast carried Fox HD feed was out for the entire game though the SD came in just fine.

Kinda sucks since I have an HD tv and pay for HD service for things like this...

That would have sucked. But you still could have just watched it over the air broadcasting. If you can make some kind of antenna

Something big went down with Fox. I lost my OTA HD feed for a good portion of the 1st half of the game. SD worked fine. All other HD OTA feeds were up and running. It was specific to Fox.

It crashed right after the coin toss.

That was an amazing story.

When we had cable I had a switch in the closet that switch it to Broadcast channels so if cable went down I could still watch the standard channels.

Yeah... screw Comcast! The hard drive on my DVR died, and they "replaced" it with ANOTHER DVR with a dead hard drive :|

I also noticed that this new DVR also gets free Showtime, HBO, and Cinemax.... someone screwed up there!
