FU Comcast price increase - I'm Cuttin the Cable

I got rid of my Verizon FIOS service about six weeks ago after they decided to raise the price once again. I am using a couple of small antennaes linked in at different points on the cable in my house. we have about a dozen channels coming in. I cannot believe how much better the HD is over the air than FIOS was. Crystal clear reception most of the time. No more cable TV for me.

Check out FTA satellite too. Can find a dish (31"+) and lnb for free if you look a bit. A $40 pci tuner card will be all you need to buy, unless you want a motor to hit the whole belt horizon -horizon. It's all free after that.

Get a slingbox, and then set it up and someones house who has cable (parents, friend, etc) Pay them a little to use their TV, and your good.

As long as their internet as a decent upload speed slingbox is pretty impressive. I barely watch TV anymore, so i cant justify spending any money on something i use maybe once or twice a week.
