FTP - Win2k Server IIS 5 or Serv-u

which ftp program would you recommend - iis 5 or something like serv-u? which would be safer? this will be for others uploading websites to my iis 5 http server. ease of configurability is a main concern.

My personal experience has been that serv-u is much easier to set up and administrate than IIS5 ftp.

Since you're already using IIS for the web pages you might as well use it for FTP too, you're going to be busy enough tracking it's patches why add another product to monitor?

That's good advice I use Serve-U in win2k too. adding users, folders etc ... much easier in serve-u than IIS

Serv-U is better because you don't need to add users to the OS as is the case in order to use FTP on IIS5. Access control is also seperate in Serv-U and not in the OS ACLs.
