I don't know if it is still around but I always liked Bulletproof FTP.

For some reason or other, I've always found SmartFTP to be the easiest and best to use, and it has never failed me a single time. I tried using Filezilla a couple times in the past, but it never worked consistently (at least back then).

Filezilla is the best free ftp. FlashFXP is the best pay one. Bulletproof is the best ftp server. All imho of course.
