I wanna run a ftp server behind my dls connection. I registered with no-ip.com for dynamic dns and it points to my connection ip address. But when i try to logon to my server anonymously (which i have it setup for simplicitys sake at the moment) it says standard@speedstream where it says my server name i'm tryin to connect to so if i put my username and password in it, it will open up my routers configuration screen.
So i guess my question is how do i get it to point to my server instead of my router?
I've been looking at my router configuration screen and i'm not sure how to do it.
I have my server getting a ip address from the router (dhcp) the same as my pc's.
Not sure if i could disable dhcp on the router and make my server the dhcp host with a static ip and point my pc's to the server for ip addresses if this would solve the problem?
Or maybe use NAPT on my router to point to my server?
Or ip routing on the router?
I'm runnin windows2000advanced server and using the IIS ftp service that came with it.
Any help would really be appreciated!!!!!!!!
Thanks in advance

I don't have that setting in my router its a efficient networks speedstream 5660 series......would it be called anything else in my dsl routers configuration screen? I used NAPT to point to my server i gave it a static ip 192.yada.yada.yada and tried to access it via IE as in wwwmysitedotcom and it did the same thing..would it be because i'm trying to access my server through the net but my server is on my lan? I know the ip address i assigned my server isn't a valid ip address on the internet but i thought thats what NAPT does points to my server because it dosent have a valid ip address. This command configures one or more Network Address Port Translation (NAPT) servers on the host system. A NAPT server needs to be configured for each type of service that you want to allow through the router. Heres what my router config screen said and thats what i set it to.

For example, if a host on the local area network side of the router provides a web server that users need to access from the WAN side, you would need to configure a NAPT server using a Protocol of TCP or UDP, with a Port of "http", and with the IP Address of the host system that provides the web server.

Configured NAPT Servers
Transport Service Server
tcp 21/ftp 192.168.2.34
