FSCKING adware! I can take NO MORE!

Just wasted the last hour of my life removing the fscking spyware from hell. Not only does this sh!t completely take over your system, it makes it completely impossible to remove. I don't know what the hell this thing was, but it monitored what I was doing and would cancel any spyware-removal related downloads and would close spybot, adaware, or anything like that as soon as I opened it. I couldn't find the process at all. Why the hell do these spyware writers think that they have the power to completely fscking take over other people's PROPERTY with their horseshit motherfscking programs from hell!? We need anti-spyware laws or something! Ugh!!!

Anyway...anyone who gets this same sh!t on their system, what you have to do is run a system restore, then once the restore is complete and the "sucessful" dialog box is on the screen and keeping the shell and everything else from loading, run spybot S&D and adaware from the task manager to weed that crap out. If anyone finds out who wrote this sh!t, post their company name and IP and we'll all have fun with them.

Phew, glad I got that out! Rant over...

I don't see any difference between spyware and a virus. There should be conquences for creating such malicious software.

I had the same sh!t once.
had to format.

now I run this all the time. It not only cleans them, but it also stops them from entering. I have tried them all, and this is my fave.

Also, this , IMHO, is the most underrated program ever. Again, I have tried Norton, and McAfee, and this knocks the spots off both. And it is not a resource pig like the others.

I have had nothing but raves from everyone I have suggested this stuff to.

:)

I have often thought this as well. Taking over a browser program and adding listings and installing malware sounds vaguely like a virus. Why do companies allow this?

Thank you. I wish more than anything that there are. As I was sitting there watching this program kill any spy-ware removal progam, I thought to myself....who the hell owns this computer? This can't be legal...

yeah believe it or not I had to reinsall windows TWICE last night. :disgust:

I got some adware I just couldnt get rid off. And I couldnt remeber where it came from either. So i reinstalled windows XP. Then I am going round checking webmail, installing utilities etc, and suddenly its there again!!!!! Grrrr....

I realise that www.digiverse.net is the culprit, and have to reinstall windows a second time in one night!!!

Opera really is the browser to use.

1) Firewall
2) Firefox
3) Spybot S & D
4) Don't click Yes on every box that pops up on your screen (not that it SHOULD if you are using firefox)

Welcome to the world of no spyware/viruses/hackers.

ran into the same problem this weekend, just prepping for a complete reinstall instead, adaware didnt work well on it since it only removed it untill the next reboot. I even tried deleting everything strange from program files and running adaware and checking the registry run and run once, and I went through the task manager to remove all the running processes that I didnt know. Still it all came back when I rebooted!! all the directories I had deleted in program files were back and whats worse that even more crap was in the task manager than before.

I HATE SPYWARE!
