FSCK! Stupid ass pharmacy!

I was quoted $41.89 /dose of Japanese Encephalitis vaccination. I need 3, so my order was $125.67.

I phoned to see if my perscription was ready (they had to order the vaccine before the weekend) and they tell me that the cost of the perscription is $433!!!!!

FSCKING HELL!

So I'm not going to be getting the vaccination now. I can't afford it!

I have insurance, but insurance doesn't cover the cost of vaccinations needed to go out of the country. (IE, Japanese Encephalitis)

Uhm, while you definitely don't want to get encephalitis, the probability that you will get it is probably about the same that you are infected with west nile in the united states. Just avoid open sewers and mosquitos?

some dont cover certain preventative stuff. go to your local public health clinic. while there will be many homeless people there, they are much cheaper for vaccinations and the entertainment is awesome.
