I got in from classes (I'm at college), and said hi to my sis, and she informs me that Lady, our old old old Pekinese, was put to sleep today. I don't care about being an adult, I'm gonna f*cking cry, that just ruined my day. I was home this last weekend, and didn't know it'd be my last time to see my poor dog........she was old and we knew she wasn't going to last long, but still, I wanted to hug her one last time...

I need something to break.......yes, be back shortly.

don't mind my rant, latez.

I'm sorry to hear that :( It's very troubling when it happens without any expectation, harder to accept.

Awww. :(

It's sad to lose a friend like that, but try to picture her romping over the Rainbow Bridge, no longer hampered by a body burdened with age.

I'm sorry to hear that, I know how you feel :(. I haven't lost a dog, but two turtles. I sure did love them.

Losing pets is like losing a family member... Condolences :(

I agree though, break something and go cry, you will feel much better.

Aww..i am sorry to hear that.

Though I do not remember much of my childhood I do remember when my dog, Tiki, died.

I can remember walking out in my kitchen in the morning and trying to get her up like usual. When she didn't move- I just shook her a little harder to wake her. But, she still didn't move.
I called for my parents and they immediately knew what the problem was- she was dead.
My parents put her out in the garage as quickly as possible.

For a six year old, death is hard to comprehend. I walked out in the garage when my parents were not looking and kept trying to wake Tiki up- but I couldn't. I talked to her and I just couldn't grasp that my dog- the friend that I had grown up with and played with since I was a baby- was gone. I didn't cry because I thought she was coming back.

To this day it makes me sad to think of that memory.

Awww... I remember when 2 of my dogs were put to sleep. It was quite sad, but just keep pushing through and you'll feel better. I know that my dogs would have suffered a lot more if they were alive, so it made me feel a little better that I knew it was much better for them to be put down. Still, it's tough to lose such a close member of the family (yes, pets are family members).

You might want to find a picture of your dog. It might help to see her every so often. Sorry to hear about it.:(

I feel for you dude. I had to put my rottie down in august. im 32 and i cried like a baby. Its tough even days later i would sit on the deck and look where we burried her and i would break down again.

the hard pain your feeling right now will ease up but you will always miss your doggy.
