Well one just swooped overhead... fsck I hate this.

It seems like I don't have any friends anymore.

I see one group of people from high school at the bar on either friday or saturday night. I don't ever talk to these people at anytime other than that.

Of 3 best friends (or who I considered my best friends), 2 have become best friends and both work the same job. They have become total drug addicts. I usually call them to see what they are up to on the weekend. Its always "i dunno, i'll give you a call in a bit when I find out". They never call back. I don't even like hanging out with them anymore. The 3rd friend, I just never see anymore.

I never get any calls from anyone anymore. I never just go hang out with anyone or anything.

There is nothing in my life to give me any pleasure. No girl, no friends, no nothing. I go to university, I come home, I study, I use the computer and I sleep.

I'm in a sorta similar situation, except I have a girlfriend 150 miles away. All my friends who lived around here moved away, there's only a couple poeple left I can hang out with, and they're usually busy.

My solution: Move to Sacaramento where my girl is (I also know a bunch of people there, and they have a racetrack). Anyway, I'm moving in December or January.

I gotta wait till monday to find out...

I've met a bunch of people at university so far in my classes, but they've become people I just talk to in class. I dunno what to do to make more of that. I guess I can try to find some group or club or something.

Its like everything changed as soon as I moved out and started university. I only moved about 15 minutes away, but still its like I left everything behind and people just forgot about me. Including the people I thought were my best friends.

It's a big change from high school to college/university, your life will change a lot. You will make new friends though, but it might take some time. If you go away to university you tend to meet people more easily and quicker, it might take you a little longer since you are commuting but you will still be able to do it.

The best times of your life are decidedly NOT going to be your high school years. Well, I take that back, there ARE people whose high point of their entire life was in high school, that time they scored 4 touchdowns in one game ala Al Bundy, or whatever. When they graduate and enter a world where nobody gives a sh-t about their 4 touchdowns in high school, that social pedestal is stripped from under them and they can't deal with it. For goodness sakes don't be one of those.

I hang-out with exactly ZERO friends from my high school years, and thank God for that.

Dude, I feel your pain. Something sucky just happened to me. 3 Guys who I thought were friends just decided to go to a party. Instead of inviting me along, they invited this other guy and told me "catch you later, alright?" Fvck them. Now I have to try to meet new people.
