I think he's running sigle channel for one. Way slow timings, altho doesn't mean too much at that speed. I would still go P5B Deluxe.

That is and odd setup with the memory, which probably contributes to the relatively slow super pi timings.

When you have high timing, your SuperPi's gonna be slow. I thought everybody running superpi benchmarks know this by now. I really wish that dude w/ the cat avatar would STFU 'cause he clearly doesn't know WTF he's talking about.

Did you guys read the thread at XS? These aren't coolarers results, they are not CPU-Z verified, and they are thought to be fakes by the guys at XS.

Interesting to see an ES E6200, none the less

Exactly. I think its a load of rubbish to be fair (EDIT: wasn't aware that it was verified, either way this is just one freak instance). Also i dont base superiority over just one result, be it a genuine result or not. The P5B has proven consistency time and time again, and that?s what makes a superior board.

The best boards at the moment are the P5B and the DS3. The issue with the DS3 is it is not as consistent as is P5B, with relation to FSB speeds with no voltage mods. Or so it seems from what people say, I still see a lot of 380FSB walls. Also the P5B does not suffer all the quirks of the DS3. Hence why i bought the P5B going on all the research I did before I purchased and am very satisfied with the results and choice.

Good thread, thanks for the info, been trying to get my head around the MB for a C2D build (still stuck on E6400 vs E6600) was thinking DS3 but I really like Asus and the P5B.
