memory question
planning to buy the samsung 512mb pc 2700
whihc is selling only for $123 from googlegear.com
i heard many good things about this
i'm planning to overclock my p4 2.66
but i heward there are 2 kinds of samsung chips
a CTL and a DTL
can someone tell me the difference
oh also planning to buy the Asus p4g8x gb mobo
whihc i belive uses a 1:1 divider
so i think there wont be any point of buying a ddr400
oh btw
how high of a bus speed can the p4 2.66 handle on average?
a 166X4=664 or 175X4=700 instead of the regualr 533??
since it's 1:1 i am limited on overclocking by the cpu true?
so if the cpu won't be able to handle high fsb
then no point on getting a memory high than ddr333
since i won't be able to use that extra speed
since not planning to upgrade for a while
