I was under the impression that FSB changes would only cause problems if overclocking. But I was underclocking at 90and100MHz FSB in order to get away without using my noisy case fan. I can play QIII on it for half an hour, but soon the computer would stop in bootups always at the same place. What is Windows taking exception to here? Months ago when I tried underclocking QIII would crash, now something different happens. Is it a problem with the bus peripherals or CPU do you think?
