Do I need to "Unlock" my CPU to overclock the FSB. I have an ASUS A7V board, further system specs found below in the link. Also will the BIOS set things like voltages automatically to default for my CPU if I go into juper mode????

Unlocking is not needed for FSB overclocking, however, any Athlon chipset isn't very comfortable at high fsb speeds. It is advised that you unlock your processor an play with the multiplier in combination with the CPU core voltage. This way you can achieve higher speeds. My Athlon Classic for instance got to 770MHz with fsb oc (7x110) and 900 with multiplier oc (9x100).

I've got one question for you though: where can I submit my Rig info :) like you have?

What is the best way to unlock. A friend of mine un locked his with a pencil and says it has lasted months and months with no problems. I have heard others say the pencil wears off use loc-tite rear window defroster repair?????????
