FSB is somehow locked up? EP-UD3P

In the past, I successfully had my fsb set to 400mhz x 8.5multiplier = 3400mhz. Now it will only boot at 266 fsb. If I change it by even 1mhz, it will reset itself to stock!

What I find even more strange is that I can use the software overclocking (Easy Tune6) and it successfully runs at 300 fsb x 9.5 = 2850mhz for continuous prime95 sessions.

Multiplier changes are always successful. The memory all seems to run at stock 400 or 450 without a hitch. Processor is an E7200 266x9.5=2533mhz. Motherboard is a Gigabyte EP-UD3P P45.

Any suggestions?
