FSB in Intel Nehalem i7

What happened to FSB in terms of the new Intel i7s? Simply put, where the hell did it go?

I don't see a FSB rating in any i7 specifications.

The FSB has been replaced by the Bclk in the sense that that is now multiplied to determine CPU frequency, however, it no longer has any bearing on performance as Intel Quick Path has replaced those functions.

for calculating memory speeds that will perform optimally with the processor, I use the Bclk instead of FSB?

Yes.

You have a pretty wide number of options too, as you can get extremely slow DDR3 like DDR3-800 all the way up to DDR3-2000+.
