FSB and video card performance??

OK, here goes my question. I've got an Abit KT7-R (not A), and was wondering- does the FSB speed have an impact on card performance. My reason for inquiring is that I'm wanting to upgrade my system and was wondering where I would get the most "bang for my buck". My setup scores 2800 on 3DMark2001, and 6050 on 3DMark 2000 w/ a Geforce 256 DDR video card. I am going to upgrade my mobo to the KR7 in a few months anyway (if I'm good Santa will bring me one). Since my mobo only runs stable to about ~ 108 FSB- would I see higher scores with only a higher FSB and same video card??? Looking into the future I will most likely end up with a Ti200 or 500 card down the road.

The FSB speed itself doesnt improve graphics card performance, but as a byproduct a higher FSB speed usually equates to a higher AGP/PCI bus speed and that can give a performance boost as it would raise the bandwidth availavle through the AGP/PCI slots. That said, even AGP4X is next to worthless over AGP2X in games at present so any performance gain would be extremely negligible at best. For a PCI graphics card it may be slightly beneficial, certainly more then with AGP but it would often be more hassle then it's worth for the minor gain you might experience.
