FSB and DDR Timings

How do FSB and DDR Timings correlate?

In otherwords if i have a processor with and FSB of 266, with no plans to overclock, should i jjust stick to DDR 266 memory? Or does a DDR333 and up give increased performance?

if you are using an AMD processor with an fsb of 133/266, you have no reason to increase the RAM speed - you are already maxing out the CPU bandwidth
if you are using an Intel processor with an fsb of 133/533, it makes sense to increase the RAM speed, as it is bandwidth starved.

You won't get any increased perfomance, but the fact the pc3200 ddr, cost the same as pc2100, you might as well get the pc3200 for future upgrades.
