FSB & AGP Spread Spektrum ?!?

Hi ,

Can someone tell me what the FSB & Spread Spektrum are for ?

I have an EPoX 8RDA+ and i see these in the BIOS.

I have been wondering the same thing since I got my Asus A7N8X...

It's a feature that varies the clock frequency by a tiny amount in effort to reduce EMI. If you're overclocking, turn it off, because the slight variance in clock speed can be enough to cause instability.

Ahh.... sounds right since my mobo disables it at non-official bus speeds
