FSB @ 200 with ddr266

I have 2-256 MB PC2100 (ddr266) chips and an 800 MHz FSB P4C. In CPU-Z, it says my system FSB is 200 MHz, shouldn't it be 266? My noobish guess is that I need to set the FSB😀RAM scales, it's at 1:1 right now, but I cannot change it cause my soyo mb doesn't have it in the bios. Am I right?

What speed is your P4C really working ?
The memory is on AUTO in BIOS ?

Can you give us more info so that we can try to help you better ?!?

My P4c is running stock, 2.4 GHz. Memory was at auto, I set it to ultra (dram timings) and benchmarks are better, but FSB still 200 MHz.

If your P4 is a 2.4C, then it's running at it's nominal speed and the memory with the 3:2 divisor.

All that info is in CPU-Z...

Are you sure it's at 1:1 right now? That would put your PC2100 running at PC3200 speed, which is unlikely.

FSB is 200 "quad pumped" to 800, your FSB is right where it should be for that CPU.
You should be at 3:2 as Stormgiant said, which would put your RAM at 133 (which is 266 effective after taking into account that it's DDR)

If you are really at 1:1, consider yourself very lucky that your memory overclocks so well. But somehow I highly doubt you're at 1:1.

Use CPU-Z or aida32 to give you more insight into what your board is actually running for it's RAM/FSB/CPU speeds.

Well I was just curious as to why I was not seeing 266 MHz anywhere in CPU-Z. I guess that's it then. CPU-Z does say my p4's bus is running at 800 MHz so it's all good.
