ok... this looks like responsible reviewing, instead of pitting an Oc'd card against a non-OC'd one!

Pretty safe to say that I'll finally upgrade my aging Radeon 7500 to a 9600 PRO.
You're kidding, right? In most cases, the 9500 Pro wins. Unless there really is a price advantage like they claim, there might be some merit to the praise they give the card, but otherwise, it's HUGE overclock garnered little in the way of actual performance gains.

If they cost the same, I'd get the 9500 Pro.

It's going to have to be significantly lower than $200 to merit any consideration.
When you can get a 9700 non pro for around that. Or a 9500pro around 165

This thing is freaking me out! I was just about to buy a 9500Pro and now this. It's not really the overclock I am worried about, rather the price issue. A 9500Pro is still $240 here in Denmark, so a 9600Pro at perhaps $185 here and I have seen the 9600 light.

My little rig does better with a 9500 NP that thinks it is a 9700! For $165.

Silly 9500 :)

ATi has done well with their newest offering I think but I'll still keep a close grip on my 9500 Pro.
