I happened upon this thread (which isn't mine obviously): http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2478108&highlight=ddr3

The thread was locked because "we limit items such as this to a max of 3 each..."

What is "items such as this"? Computer parts? Used hard drives? 4 TB hard drives? I looked through the FS/FT forum rules and don't see anything about a limit of 3 to anything (I searched "three", "3", "max", "no more", etc). I want to avoid posting something that might get locked in the future.

We don't have a set limit, per se. But we will often limit a seller having three or more Identical of the identical items, which are generally new. This is preventing dealers from coming in here and selling. We find that they don't like paying the ebay fees so they attempt to try to sell here.

We have nothing to do with ebay/paypal but dealer sales are not in the spirit of why this FS/T forum was created.

We will however make exceptions to three or more quantities on a case by case basis.
You just need to make a Moderation discussions thread and ask.
