Well, I had a mainboard die on me, and I have this processor that I have no board for. it is a 900 MHZ SLOT A processor. You need a slot not socket to put it in. I would be happy to sell it for $30 to a TeAmate. I know it is worth about $75-80 because they are getting extreamly hard to find, but It is only good for a paperweight to me. My loss your gain.

What you get:
#1: 900 AMD SLOT A Athlon. Never overclocked or removed from its case.
#2: Slot A cooler. Kinda cheappy one, but cooled it very well. Has a 50mm fan, with probably about 10 CFM or so.
#3: Mainboard (extra shipping required.)
If you want the mainboard it was on, I will give ya that too, but you would have to pay another few bucks for shipping. It has 2 bubbled caps that would have to be replaced before it will work. I am 90% sure that is why the board does not work, but not positive. It is a SOYO SY-K7VIA.

you must be #1, a TeAmate running some kind of DC program on this machine. #2, you must have a board for it to go in not including this one, just in case it does not work. Or you must purchase one. I have seen them for $20 from Compgeeks, but I hate their mainboards 🙂 #3, you must promise to love me forever.

If you want it, reply in this thread first, AKA: yell, "DIBS" then PM me 🙂

*** SOLD ***

JW Middleton had a SOYO board like that where he had someone that kept replacing the caps for him. I think he finally stopped getting it fixed after a couple of times having the caps blow.

I have a Slot A motherboard with a 500 MHz processor in it now (the original FIC board). It runs ECCp about 16 hours/day. I don't know if the board can handle this fast of a processor, though. I'm interested, but I'll let other take priority if they have an open Slot A board.

I have one of those boards, same problem. Took out my power supply too. If anyone wants another dead Soyo Sy-K7VIA you can have it for shipping.

OK I will yell DIBS!!!!

I have a slota 600 running right now on seti. I would be more than happy to take it off your hands.
