Stores don't warranty stuff (Outside of purchased extended warranty's), outside of 30 day return policy, RMA it to the manufacturer.

14 days on CPU's and memory, 30 days on motherboards (and most everything else). Must have original receipt, marked by the door checker, serial #'s must match what was recorded in the computer at point-of-sale, all original packaging intact, NO EXCEPTIONS.

No, I've never worked at Fry's, I just buy most of my stuff there. Fry's has the best return policy in the business IMO, but 2 months later ain't happenin'. Read the back of the receipt.

Not that I don't love newegg, I do, but why would the OP's situtation of having a motherboard go bad 2 months after purchase be any different if he had bought his motherboard from newegg? In either case, board purchased from newegg or board purchased from fry's isn't he is going to have to RMA back to the manufacturer?

Seriously. Not only does this not apply because of the OP's situation, but Fry's return policy is far better than Newegg's. Without question. Unless you actually like having to get RMA's and pay for return shipping, etc.
