49.99 - 20 PNY rebate. In the 8/4 ad, thru Tuesday. It may be a closeout. I got this for a budget HTPC I'm building for the g/f. I was at Fry's Burbank at 3pm, and got the last one on the shelf, which was open box. The clerk said they were not getting any more of them.

Got it home only to find the "proof of purchase tab" for the rebate was already clipped off. #$%^& Fry's! Back it goes tomorrow.

Update: I took the box back to Fry's and showed them the missing POP tab. They admitted they should've checked for the missing POP on the previous return. They were willing to do an even-exchange for an unopened box, and, finding none in house, paid the $20 rebate themselves. Kudo's for good customer service at Fry's -- they've never let me down with a return or problem.

Is this a "low-profile" card? Nicer yet if it included a low-profile bracket so I wouldn't have to mod it.

It's a full-height card.

Thanks... ratz!

look up an older thread on this card for some comments and comparisons Zyfer. I think NewEgg had it for $29 amir at the time posted. I got talked out of buying it, even though I later discovered that is was a pretty good deal!

I'm quite happy with the card. It is fanless, good for HTPC use if your case accepts a full-height card. The video output dongle has Svideo, HD component, and composite. There was discussion at the AVSForum that the 6200 does not support overscan adjustment and centering, but I can confirm that at least the composite output, which uses the luminance (Y) jack on the component connectors, can be adjusted to fill the screen perfectly on the front jack of my Panasonic Tau TV, using the latest nV drivers. I did not yet try the component jacks on the back of my Tau, but I'd be willing to bet it would work the same -- it's the same output circuit after all.

PS: Fry's paid the $20 rebate on the spot, since the POP tag was missing on the box. (See OP, above.)

just got two from newegg at $44 about two weeks ago. Been real happy with the card. the two are in separate computers powering 2 dell 2007FPWs and have the DVIs set as primary, and have the VGAs running to the opposite monitor so either computer can use the other monitor as a second display by switching the input selector on the front of the monitor. super tasty. I was surprised how well the card accelerates openGL apps. I work with sketchup alot and it made a HUGE difference over the old sawdust i was using (32mb G400max). this thing can handle real time shadows on some very complex 3d models. 30bux would have been nicer tho although i am about up to my teeth in rebates right now and sick of the paperwork.

The XFX appears to lack the video output "dongle". That may mean no component output is available, and you'd need a Svid to composite adapter to connect to an older TV set, if one isn't included.
