Is the 'savings' a discount or a rebate? Newegg has them for $185, but you've gotta wait for a $20 rebate.

I'm got to find me a Portland, OR newspaper and see if they're running a similar deal...

No idea. That's all it says for the ad. I'll take a (crappy) pic with my phone and post it in a sec.

Agreed. I thought the Anniversary sale was better. I stocked up on batteries, canned air, DVD-R's, and practically had to fight to get 2 of the 40-disc cd wallets for $3! :D

The Hyundai 17" LCD flat panel looks pretty good at $329.99 (no rebate). I heard the screen on this LCD has 16ms response time. This is in the LA Fry's ad, btw.

No Hyundai in Seattle. Here are the LCD's in our ad:

Sharp 19"
500:1, 16ms, integrated speakers
LL-T191AB
$730 - $130IR = $600 OTD

Sharp 15"
350:1, 25ms, DVI
LLT15G4B
$420 - $120IR = $300 OTD

Envision 17"
450:1, 25ms
EN7220
$500 - $130IR - $20MIR = $350

They have the same drive listed in the SoCal ad. Unfortunately they don't say anything about what brand it is. Does anyone know?

I believe it's the same that was in the Anniversary sale. Princo IIRC.

Here it is:

The Emprex 8x +/- r/rw comes with an extra black Face plate and Roxio CD & DVD Creator 6, Roxio Photosuite 5 and PowerDVD XP.

As I posted in the other related thread, I ran to the Portland/Wilsonville OR. Fry's during lunch.
The Raptor rang up as a straight $179.99. They would only sell me 1, and it is a retail pack not OEM like a lot of the cheaper places online. It definitley was not marked as such on the shelf, and unless you read the ad (or one of these posts), you wouldn't know it was on sale!

Sweat deal. Thanks for posting this!
