One day sale including Hyundai L70S now for $249, ATI Radeon x800Pro for $349, Media Gear 7 in 1 card reader for $5.99, HP AMD athlon XP 3000+ $379 and a 350 watt Power Supply for $9.99 after MIR.

Looks like its time to get a price match on the Hyundai I bought a few weeks ago.

I use a couple of Hyundai LCD's at work, and they actually look pretty decent for such a low price. We got these same monitor's for about $299 on some sale. They look nice asthetically and image quality 🙂

I bought this monitor for $299 for my wife about 2 months ago from Outpost - for the price it is an excellent LCD. The response time is low so gaming is good, the colors and brightness/contrast are also good, the only maor drawback is the lack of DVI.

Outpost has it today also for 249.00. Have seen this monitor running at a Tigerdirect outlet (okay, no comments from the peanut gallery) and it is one sweet looking toy. Trouble is, currently with a good 19" trinitron tube monitor, can't justify a new one to the wifey

😉😉😉

AFAIK yes it is - the black is actually more like a charcoal so it blends together better, although I still think it is fairly hideous. I have no idea why manufacturers insist on two-toned color schemes for LCDs.

Here is a bad picture of it in case anyone needs a reference.

purchased this monitor when it was for $279...got 6 dead pixels, sent in for replacement got one with 1 dead pixel.

anyone who ordered and received a pixel free one? also, the date on it was july and june 2003 respectively.

this is my first lcd so i cant really compare it with others...except for the fact that the bottom and upper left hand corner seem to have trouble displaying an even color with the rest.

for those who've owned others lcds but how does it compare with other monitors?

h3nG - sorry you've had trouble with your L70S. Mine also has one dead pixel, but that's actually below average in my experience so I didn't sweat it. The L70S does have some backlight leakage which makes some parts of the screen lighter and more washed out than others but again, I didn't find this to be more or less so than other LCDs I've used. Overall I would say if you don't take into account the low cost it's a pretty average LCD, but when you do take into account that it's under $300 shipped it's a pretty good deal.

i bought this for sister in law and set it up this afternoon. Comes with 512 DDR memory, on board video, internal card reader, HP DVD burner, Windows XP home, and wireless mouse and keyboard (via the USB port). I am pleasantly suprised.

No hassles on the pricematch in fact I did not even have the receipt they looked it up on the computer and gave me a credit no questions asked.

Just a quick "I love Fry's" bump.

I'm glad they decided to build one five minutes from my house. 😀
