the hard drive is priced as 159.99 but at the register its 119.99 i've seen it with my own eyes

Yes, I bought one last Saturday at Fry's. The box states the higher price and the register rings up the 119 price. They sell so many that the cashier was fully familiar with this fact.

there is a 200gb maxtor for $89.99 at fry's out the door. no rebates ..
a little higher, but i hate rebates
