Thing is, I don't think Fry's has the same deals from store to store. Or maybe it goes by reigons, but at any rate, the one up here in Wilsonville, OR doesn't have a lot of the deals mentioned in the posts I've seen on this forum (though I've only been looking here for a little while). I guess what I'm trying to say is that you'll have to check at the nearest one yourself.

I know what you mean, Rojay -- the Fry's a half mile from my home has completely different prices and products than the one a mile from me. Of course one's an electronics store and the other's a supermarket, but since the owners are cousins it shouldn't matter, right?

Just picked up a 12x DVD ROM for $49 after rebate. It's a EPO, UDMA/33, supports Win 95/98/NT/2000.

Fry's is suck, though I did buy the first motherboard from them that worked the other day-I did have to take the one the salesperson handed me back to the pile & find one that hadn't been returned though.

My wife calls Fry's "Geek Heaven" Computer parts & snacks under one roof.
