Fry's eletronics warranty for computers. Any experience?

My girlfriend wants to buy a notebook. I have a Dell and I am very satisfied with customer service, but she wanted to see other options, so we went to Fry's.
They actually happen to have a toshiba and a sony vaio with good prices. But the only extend warranty they sell is their own warranty.

Do you guys have any experience with Fry's warranty? They say will replace with a new one if they can't fix. blah blah blah....

Any suggestions???

I bought a laptop from them and I'm about to use the warrenty to replace the built in wireless on it(centrino). As far as experience I bought a laser printer from them a year or two ago and at one point probably 6 months after I had purchased it the printer had problems with jamming and I got tired of it and took it back. Turns out they just gave me a brand new boxed printer. 🙂 We'll see what happens with my laptop.
