Fry's coming to Atlanta ?

Several months ago there was an article in the Atlanta newspaper business section about Fry's Electronics building a store in Gwinnett County . Anyone know what the status is . - thanks

The mega-electronics store, Fry?s, has signed a lease to open a location in Alpharetta and another will go up near Gwinnett Place mall in the future. The bottom line with Fry's: you either love it or hate it. The stores are usually 50 percent larger than Sam?s Club and they sell thousands of electronics. This could be a good thing. But be prepared for customer-no-service. Clark said customers are treated like cattle.

Well, at least they are coming to the East - but, still 700 miles from where I live.

Kick ass.. My house is less than five minutes from Gwinnett Place.

They built a Micro Center around the corner about a year ago and I love that place.

Pretty good distance from Augusta but considering some of the deals I've seen posted concerning Fry's, I'd be tempted to make that trip.
