Got my combo from Webuildpcs.com for less.....and 1500XP is not 1.5Ghz AFAIK.
 
Well it's not a HOTTTTTT Deal but it's a deal... Since it's Palimino it'll run cooler heh 1.33ghz.. Get some Good PC2100 and overclock that thing with OCWorkbench bios heh...

Best price on pricewatch is $190 + $12 shipping ($202.00) and If you're local to a Fry's store then there is no waiting for shipping (just need to wait in long line at cashier station..)

t's a good deal for local Fry's stores, save at least $10 bucks on shipping and good return policy. We dont need online stores when Fry offer lower price, I personally like to buy in B&M stores more.

Sure,you don't pay shipping, but you do pay 7% to 8% sales tax, that another $14 to $16,and If you are so afraid that you will have to return something ,why buy it in the first place?

Wow LA is $20 less then Sacto on this one...?!

All things being equal... I would always rather buy locally....Even.. if it does cost a few $$ more.

Electronic components have been known to fail...(especially Mobos).

Personally, I prefer to just walk into the B&M store .. say at about 8:30PM on a Friday night and exchange for new one? Rather than RMA at online store and wait a week for new board.

For those that don't have a Fry's in the neighborhood. Newegg has the parts available for this deal at 183.00+12.00s/h=$195.00 within the cont. U.S. from what I could tell. Was approx. $24 for folks in alaska.
 
Mysticman1, too much hassle to return stuff online and usually losing more money on return shipping as well. Best of all, I don't need to wait for another 5-7 days turn around time to get an exchange from B&M. Sure we pay a couple dollars more + tax but then is worth it.
