Frys: Anyone seen the 3D device that makes all games 3D?

Cost is $100. Comes with clear glasses, games, and hardware to hook up. Makes ALL games true 3D. I can't remember the name of it.

I've read a few reviews on the 3D glasses, and they appear to be awesome. Never made the move to get them though.... 🙁

It's been around for 4 years now.
Used to be known as WickedVision, not sure on the new name.
Basically it makes your monitor alternate between 2 images on every refresh, one of them has the Direct3D camera position altered slightly for the other eye, and it sends a signal to the glasses to tell them to block one eye at a time with a shutter.

If your monitor has a fast pixel fade time (i.e. if you bring the refresh down to 75 you see flickering), this is GOOD for the 3D system, just like IMAX. If you use an LCD you'll just see a double image.

I saw one running in a store 2 weeks ago and was surprised to see they've now added windows media functionality to it so .AVI files with dual video channels will play in 3D in media player.
