Just saw today's fry's ad on newspaper(San Jose Bay Area).

$129 for the barebone system.

It includes.

950MHZ Duron bare CPU.
build-in 2D/3D video card
build-in sound card.
ATX case with power supply(I think it's 300W)
1.44MB floppy driver
keyboard, mouse and speaker.

Fry's web site is www.outpost.com.....However, the sale prices in the newspaper ads are rarely available online.....

Here is the small print on bottom of newspaper advertisement:

btw, this same deal was advertised at $109 a few weeks ago 🙂

this deal has been offered online (via outpost.com of course) a few times for $149 including once with free shipping. currently it is offered for $179 or $199 depending on motherboard maybe? just search for 950 or barebone at outpost.com keep in mind for $199 they are offering a xp1700 so if you are buying online it may be worth it to pay the extra $20. of course that system needs ddr ram, case fan, and a video card. there are several threads on this board about outpost barebones
