Listing by price, that's the way :) Good Job. I saw the KT266 mobo and the XP1800+ combo for $139 and I was all, WOAH, that's a damn good price :)

Great post, however, I can't believe you left this one out - Verbatim 40x12x48 CD-RW for either 89.99-50 or 79.99-50 MIR. That's way better than the memorex for $79.99, especially since CompUSA sells the Memorex for $59.99 without any rebates.

Wow! that is really a good price!

Not as good as the $45 from amz. but this one is available to all.

In the SJ Merc, the 40X Verbatim is 69.95 with a 30 rebate.

The Verbatim CD-RW deal is hot. Cheapo CD-RWs aren't worth the bother for folks that use the things a lot.

Link to the MSI motherboard. It appears to be red, which is nifty, if of no particular practical value. Unfortunately, the board doesn't seem to have RAID support. I think I'd somewhat rather have had the FIC AN11 / XP1800+ combo that Fry's was hawking for $139 a month ago (particular since it was retail. I wish I'd laid in a few of those combos. Still, this is a pretty nice deal.

For those of you in the East Bay, CA area...
It was just announced that Frys is going to open a new store in Concord, CA.
No opening date announced yet. Frys just signed the deal.

woo-hoo!! - FRYS IN CONCORD! this would be HOT for us City folk!! -- closer/easier than SJ or Freakmont

EDIT: oh yah, this is a GREAT deal on the Samsung 1210 printer, btw - better than the $120 AR Costco had it for a little while ago...

dude, there's no room in sf for a frys. if they did build 1, it'd be in some ghetto neighborhood like tl or hp or something. no thanks. anyway, I got 4 frys all within 15 mins of me. I love san jose.

someone mentioned the FIC AN11 deal, I have this board, I love it, but I think the MSI board has better OC potentials. the highest fsb I got my board to was 160, then it wouldn't post on default voltage. by the way, I tried to oc an 1600xp.
