The 512Mb DDR3200 PNY for $19.99 isn't too bad. $59.99 for 1 GB mushkin kit. $199 for a 18 cu. ft fridge/freezer. Free after rebate, 350VA battery backup.

up in the bay area is roughly the same but this isn't a super hot sale. 20 year anniversay sale stinks. hopefully they'll have one better tomorrow.

I went already and there was hardly any line. a really really good one you know it when the line is incredibly long.

what has happen to frys incredible sales?

good prices usually come out on weekends. Last year the friday sale was ho-hum but better prices was out on saturday and sunday where the line was quite long.

I got this in the Woot deal (the DMS1 + DMP1 = $200). It's okay, but nothing outstanding. The bundle was well worth the money though.

Bay area ad also has a BFG Geforce 6800 OC 128MB AGP for $179.99 - $30MIR = $149.99

Picked one up at that price since it's basically as cheap as a 6600GT and performs similarly, but with more potential gains if you overclock and/or try to unlock the pipes.

Just sitting on it for now though. Gonna wait and see if they have any better deals tomorrow or Sunday. If so I'll just return it.

Damn that's cheap. In OC/LA it's $199-30 for $169.99. Tweny bucks more than in the Bay. Damnit, i just bought an eVGA from monarh for $220-30 = 190. I'm only out about five bucks because of taxes, but the lifetime warranty and the ability to return to fry's within 30 days is killin me!

They had a Sempron 2200+ GQ system in the Portland metro area for $99 in store. Crappy computer, but you can't beat the price. It would make a good office/internet pc for the kids. 140 sold in under 4hrs. here.

Yeah the real lenient return policy is nice. But in this case it makes it easily abusable because if you don't get a card that can unlock the extra pipelines, you can just return it and try another one. There were only 8 or 9 left on the shelf when I went, and I got the only one that wasn't a return. I'm guessing all those returned ones didn't unlock well.

Is there anyway to get that 6800OC deal if you are not in the Bay area? My fry's in northridge doesn't even carry the BFG 6800 OC evidently. I just spent an hour looking and all they had was the 6600GT OC for $249.99 and the 6800GT OC for $399

The 17" Viewsonics were flying out of the Woodland Hills Store.. Got 2 for my office around 930am.. the best thing is that there was no rebates and no generic brand to worry about.

Picked up the 6800OC. I don't even need it, as I have a GT, but at this price why not!

you much be really rich.

hahahaha no. But I have a job, and have no kids or girlfriend at the moment, so all the income is disposable. Probably end up giving it away as a birthday present to someone framerate challenged, so its not totally self indulgent.

Fry's Atlanta had the BFG Deal, the $99 sempron box, the $399 Via laptop, lots of free after rebate items, the $699 olevia, $69 250GB hard drive...kickin myself for not buying the BFG 6800...told myself I didn't "need" it, but again why not?

oh and the $149 A64 3000+ mobo. Today we have a 6 pack of cooler master fans for $9.99, pretty kick ass
