the segate is actually $59AR

anyhow its craptacular sale. its hardly anything interesting. the 27inch lcd tv is a syntax olevia, you saved 2 dollars. last week it was 799.

anyhow there's a few things here and there but its pretty much nothing special compared to normal sales

the only thing is the coke/sprite/diet coke for 99cents per 6 pack. Limit 8 ie 2 cases.

Frys isn't what it used to be.

editted per request

i think the hottest item on there is the raptor, maybe the mushkin or kingston if u need some for a secondary machine

Get your facts straight man 🙂

i could if i wanted to but its in the coffee room, but im sitting here drinking my coffee right now

maybe i'd correct it when i was finished but u did my work already 😛

EDIT: BTW the tv is 797

The Fellowship of the Ring Extended Collector's Edition (the one with the statue bookends) for $25 is pretty hot. They had the same deal for all of the EEs a few weeks ago, but I didn't have the cash to jump on it, so I may have to grab a copy of the FOTR and wait for them to run deals on TTT and ROTK.

The Western Digital 160 GB SATA drive for $50 looked like a nice deal, depending on the out-the-door price and the amount of rebates involved. Too bad my area doesn't have a Fry's.

You may be able to get what you need by phone. Read the following from the Fry's website.

You can purchase products online at Fry's Outpost.
If you would like to purchase products over the telephone using the Telesales office at the Sunnyvale store, please call the Sunnyvale store at (408) 617-1300 and ask to speak to the Telesales department.

I don't know what the shipping rates are.

FYI, Fry's official 20th Aniversary Sale is next Friday (May 20).
They will have one-day only ads... this weekend is just a pre-emptive sale.

i just came back with the 512MB Mushkin RAM. upon closer inspection, the dimms say Blitz on them and there is a blitz logo on the pcb. did fry's just pull a fast one on me? I've never heard of blitz before.

That was also printed on the the Mushkin RAM I purchased a couple of months ago. That's normal.

thanks pxc. can never be too careful, you know how shady fry's can be. 😉
on another note, mushkin's website list timings of 3-3-3-7, their forums list 2.5-4-4 but cpu-z on my stick of ram says 3-4-4-8. oh well, cant be too picky when the price is so cheap.
