Frustration in Star Wars: KOTOR2 (PC)

OK, I've been playing KOTOR2 since I got it about a week and a half ago (PC), and I absolutely love it! I also just bought Republic Commando (also PC) and am in the process of kicking ass in that as well. However, I have run into a slight problem. I cannot seem to even battle Atris, even though I'm where I'm supposed to be, in the right situation. Below is what happens\happened:

1.) I offered the Handmaiden to teach her some Jedi shtuff, and was then interrupted by Kreia saying ":: Betrayal ::".

2.) I was then transported to Telos, the secret Jedi Academy, and originally had no idea what the hell I was supposed to do. I then came to here (GameBanshee) and then saw that I was transported there to battle Atris.

3.) I looked around at EVERYTHING, in each and every room, and even wasted some Mines trying to get things to progress. I tried bording the Ebon Hawk, but can't. I go up to the Meditation Chamber, and it is "Locked, and there is no apparent means to open it". I go to the elevator, and it too is "Locked".

4.) For those of you wondering, YES, this IS my second, NOT FIRST, visit to the Telos Academy.

My question is, WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO!!! I have gone through EVERY SINGLE ROOM in the Academy, looking for something, and have found nill. Please help, as this is essential to completing the game, and I want to do so. I have tried to re-load my save game and try it over again about 15 times, with no luck. I have tried saying different things to the Handmaiden, and also have tried to travel to different worlds before engaging in the discussion. I have heard this is a bug, so how can I get past it?

Hmm... when I battled Atris, it was with the Handmaiden, not my main person.

that is a BUG. you are NOT supposed to be on Telos at that stage. try going back to an earlier save.

Handmaiden Jedi Glitch

When you train Handmaiden to be a Jedi, you can sometimes get stuck on
Telos. You are NOT supposed to be on Telos yourself. This is supposed to
just be a cutscene with Atris. All you can do is reload and do it again.

OK, so should I just not train her as a Jedi, or in the ways of the Force, yet? Wait a while maybe? I'm close to the end of the game, so I don't think that I can wait too long.

When I trained her I was not going to Telos for the second time(think I was going to Korriban),you do get a cut scene but you meet Atris later on,so yes it`s a bug.

So all you can do is go back to an earlier save until the patch is released.

OK, well, thanks for the help. I do wish that this had been addressed before the game was released though. I did hear from someone that the game was rushed? Maybe thats the reason why this happens, but who knows. Again, thanks for the help.
