Hi there,
Recently ran into a really frustrating problem. I have my PC Desktop hooked up to its primary monitor via DVI. I also output the second monitor and sound via HDMI to my receiver that then hooks up via HDMI to my TV (currently being used as a second monitor).
The problem is, sound is only output when my TV is on, not when it is off where I will have to plug in something into the headphone jack or the motherboard audio connections to get any type of sound. Any fixes on this so that I can get audio even when my secondary TV is off?
As a precursor, my previous set-up worked:
3x screens (2x via DVI, 1x over HDMI to Receiver to TV)
These were hooked up via AMD videocard
With any monitors turned on, the sound would be output even if the TV via HDMI was turned on
Help please! Thanks!
