Just recently (about 3 days ago) a website that I visit often (cbssportsline) does not refresh when I visit the site. Even hitting the refresh button calls up an older stored version. The only way to get the most current version is to do a ctrl-f5, which is a major pain in the butt. I've done the delete all cookies, history, reboots, ad-aware, virus-scan, etc. All other webpages work as they should. Any ideas??
Facts: Windows XP, IE6 SP1, behind a work firewall and proxy server.

Thanks

Click on Tools->Internet Options, then click on Settings. You can choose when IE should refresh the page.

Or maybe it's your IT department that's doing something funny to queries to non-work related websites?

It is most likely the proxy server which should be caching webpages. Ctrl+f5, if it's working, is the only real option aside from bypassing the proxy server.
