Frustrated with Tyan & Matrox ....lock up at 133

Anyone got some ideas.....It's a PIII 533eb, Tyan 1852 and Matrox G400. The Card works great in my other board, and if I swap in a 650 @ 100 things are fine also. I've installed all of VIA's latest patches, and this happens in Win2k and 98SE. If I set the Spread sprectum the system just locks up......I'm just about finished with this board.....

Are you using a slotket?

No Sloket, straight slot1. I did just have a thought though...I swapped out the cables for 80 pins and the cd-rom is slave on the second channel, along with a backup drive.....hmmmmmmmmmmm. I know this affected some earlier ATA 66 controllers, wonder if this is the same situation?
