Fruitiest whisk(e)y?

I like whisk(e)y, and I'm not too fussy about it, but I think I'd like it more if I could find a kind of fruity whisk(e)y (Irish/Scotch/whatever).
It's hard to explain, but some people who might know WTF I am talking about might be able to suggest some.

So, what's the best for me to think of trying? (Cheap would be nice as well, for a poor student etc etc 😛)
 
Calvados? 😛 Not whisk(e)y but might be up your alley.

The Glenlivet 12 year has a nice applely finish.. single malt scotch.
