I've played around with EVGA's new Precision tool and i was able to get a nice bump in performance. 3dmark11 went from 8935 to 9600 as an example.

The reason I asked is you are using the Ivy bridge setup and thought the 680 might compliment it nicely. Understand your thinking though.

All good bro and i would if i had an issue with the games i've been playing but BF3 runs flawlessly on Ultra with my overclocked 7850 plus i'm waiting to find a 7970 for 399.99.

What are your temps at stock and overclocking? My brother is looking to get a 7850 and I'm trying to find more info for him about it because he might replace the fans with a heatsink cooler to lower his over PC rig sound... (sorry for the de-rail)

My card is different because I have aftermarket cooling so I max out at 57c at max overclock in bf3
