Wasn't the FrozenCPU.Com guy in here pushing his site a week or two ago?

Self Promotion #1 - 12-17-2000

Self Promotion #2 - 12-19-2000

Self Promotion #3 - 12-20-2000

Interestingly enough, Krueger who "was just browsing and never posted in the hot deals" has posted in defense of skyjuice in each of the 3 previous spammings.

On another note, I recently purchased some fans from Inflow Direct. They seemed to be a little more reasonable in price. I purchased 2 fans and heatsinks and they threw in some thermal compound and a 3->4 adapter for my delta fan and was charged $9.00 for 2-day shipping. I am probably going to be ordering more fans in the future, so anyone know of a better place?

REL

EDIT: The inflow direct link is fixed. I accidently clicked the https instead of http.

Hello,

so what if I am a friend of skujuice's. Can't I help the guy out? Is it illegal for me to post info for his website? I think not so why don't you worry about your own business and leave me alone :)

The point is, Krueger81, that businesses aren't supposed to post here. We all trust one another to post the hottest deals, but when an outside business comes in an advertises, we can't be sure whether or not the deal is hot at all.

An example of why this deal is bogus, and why we can't trust those who bring in business connections:
the GlobalWin FOP32 costs $26 at FrozenCPU (*plus 99 cents shipping) for a total of 26.99.
the same thing costs $20 (*plus 3.75 2-3 Priority Mail shipping with delivery confirmation) for a total cost of 23.75.

Making sure that you and your cronies don't wash me over for three dollars is what the hot deals forum is all about. If a deal isn't hot, even comparably to what other commonly-known-about-places are charging, then don't post it.
Thanks!

Good job krueger, as soon as some light is shed on your shameless dealings, you turn to the mods! You are the one who is breaking the rules here. You have just sealed frozencpu's fate here, they do not have the best prices, they practice self promotion and pm users who ask members for deals. You have a bad rep now and it will follow frozen cpu's name wherever it is posted on anandtech

I have a bad rep now? I don't really care about my reputation in the hot deals forums. I think that people who post in here and don't get the good deals are snobs that can't spend a penny more on a stick of RAM for Example. a bunch of cheapskates.

I asked the mods to lock this thread so you ididots would just let this die and not bring up old stories. But I guess that's asked of too mcuh around here..

Kreuger81 that is where you just made a complete fool of yourself. OBVIOUSLY if we are paying lower prices than you are for stuff, then we are not the idiots!

Keep going, you're ensuring no Anand reader will buy anything from your site.

Good luck suckering the sensible, non-cheapskates who are willing to pay the prices
on your lame site, or pay full retail prices for anything.

I, along with all the other "Idiots" on this forum will keep on looking for real hot
deals and save the money to save up in the bank till I have so much, the vault overflows,
cuz you know, i pinch every penny, even the one that i dont own.

Get off this forum you lame spammer, and take your site and shove it where the deals dont shine

i'd say the spammer, skyjuice, should at least be temporarily banned, he's been told several times yet keeps posting, how many warnings does this guy get?
