San Antonio, TX the southernmost big city of TX is almost forzen... We are getting ice rains and all the roads which have bridges are closed... All offices are closed down too... everybody left for home... This city is simply not equiped to handle this kind of weather...

I'm still at work... will leave in a while... feel reluctant to go back home and face my nagging wife...

I was about to make a thread about this too. I can't believe it's snowing. I've waited my whole life for this. I had my first snowball fight today. hehe

the mass hysteria that the local news is causing in houston is crazy. nothing has happened here yet, but all the schools are closed, the overpasses are sanded, people haven't left their houses, apparently there is no tomato paste in the grocery stores (chili). they told us it would be here last night, then they told us this afternoon, now they're saying tonight.

Yeah, it's been cold in Phoenix too. The other day, our high temp was only 48. The weatherman said it was the 29th coldest high temp on record, of over 40,000 days of records. Our low the other night was 18, and the coldest ever record here was 16 degrees, back in 1913.

The global warming people don't report these stories, to balance out the reports of warm weather.

I thought America was under mass hysteria for recording some of the highest temperatures this winter?

The universe is gonna implode very soon. I can feel it.
